Test what training program to focus on
Comments OffIs there a way to find an ideal program for jumping higher? How does one know which plyometric training program to focus on to improve his skills? Thereâ??s an easy way to test yourself. It is said that the person intrinsically knows what heâ??s good at and what he needs to improve on. His natural abilities are quite apparent such as when someone can jump from a standstill position more easily than other players. This is related to explosive strength but not plyometric strength, which the player could be weaker in. Or some people might have the ability to run at maximum speed which will have something to do with plyometric strength, and not explosive strength which he might be weaker in also.
Determine which type of natural ability you have and which one should you greatly improve on and now you know what to look for in the training program. Try a reactive resources jump test in order to have a more detailed calculation of what your strengths and weaknesses are.
